This is a beautifully restored 1962 VW single cab! Ready to travel anywhere. It was completely stripped down to a bare shell and restored 18 months ago. This VW has been in Missouri it's entire life. Very little rust when I started on it. Everything from the wiring harness to the interior has been rebuilt or replaced. Speedo was rebuilt and set back to 0000 which is why I know the mileage since restore. It has been lowered a bit with type 3 rear axles for better highway speeds. My wife and I travel with this little truck. It has Safari windows front and rear (Wolfgang International). It has been upgraded to a 12v system with an alternator. Dual carbs and electronic ignition. It has been in several VW shows and has won several awards including best of show. This is my first time to sell a vehicle on ebay and I really don't want to sell this one :(On Dec-05-14 at 13:57:56 PST, seller added the following information: Update: I failed to mention a couple of items. This is a dual treasure chest single cab. It has a custom built trailer hitch (included), that we pull our '71 Eriba Puck camper trailer with (not included). Almost all the new parts came from Wolfsburg West and Classic Fab (funky green panels), my VW friends will be familiar with that. I have been restoring VW's for almost 30 years and I absolutely love 'em! The ONLY reason i'm selling this one is to help pay for the new house I just built. Oh yea and I just bought a new set of disc brakes for the front ($1000), that have not been installed yet but are included.
