Up for sale is a beautiful 2005 BMW M3 SMG transmission with the competition package.The vehicle is well equipped. Most notably are the Harmon Kardon speakers, PDC, and the Competition Package.The Competition package is a very rare package that: -Lowers the stance of the suspension about 10mm-Has larger cross-drilled brake rotors (enlarged to 13.7 inches in front) with two-piece compound rotors (aluminum hat and outer portion connected by steel pins)-Provides even more nimble steering (Steering ratio reduced to 14.5:1)-Includes the M Track Mode setting for Dynamic Stability Control-Comes with beautiful 19-inch cross-spoke alloy wheels that are only available on competition package vehicles (8x19-inch front, 9.5x19-inch rear) -Alcantara-wrapped M three-spoke steering wheel with M Track Mode activation button -Specific aluminum interior trimThe interior is leather with Alcantara/Anthracite seat inserts. It is very clean inside and out. The previous owner took very good care of it, and it has been meticulously driven by me for a couple of months, now. Absolutely mechanically sound. Oil has been changed about 200 miles ago, tires have been changed very recently, and an alternator has just been replaced, as well.As far as the title goes, the car will come with a Rebuilt title.The vehicle has never been in an accident and has never had paint/body work done to it. I purchased the vehicle with a flood branded title. I am an ASE Certified Mechanic, and I deal with these types of vehicles all the time. All work done was completed professionally by myself, or my highly trained staff. In this particular vehicle, all damage was contained to the engine itself - not a drop of water to the interior passenger cabin. Secondly, the water was fresh water, not salt water (this was NOT a hurricane damaged car). The issue was that fresh water was sucked in to the engine through the air intake. This choked the engine whenever the car tried to start. In this car, we ended up replacing a piston and connecting rod (brand new, OEM from the BMW dealer). Everything else was perfect and clean. As a precaution, we changed all other fluids in the car, as well (though, we found no water in anything but the engine).
