1957 Chevy Bel Air 2-Door Old School, 283 Power Pac- 30/.30 cam? Hits pretty hard. Sounds Great. 4-Speed Positive Torque Thrust Wheels. Clutch and Transmission work Great.I guess I am still stuck in the sixty's and seventy's. I Like the way things were back in the day. Seems most everyone now days are putting late model computerized engines and stuff in old carsand trucks. That may be the way to go, but not for me. Hope someone out there still appreciates the old school way. It still has drum brakes, but all new master cyl.- wheel cyl., hoses and fuel pump, starter, everything compatible to original equipment. Still has generator and canister oil filter. But Some do.Please do not wait till Auction ends to Discuss.All Chrome was removed a while back was stripped down to bare metal etch primed. New Windshield and seal also rear window seal. Still has all the original panels. Frame is nice. Floor Pans still look very good. I did not say perfect- Shows age but no rot outs anywhere. I believe most anyone would agree, It's a very solid old car, but there is always the guy's that expect perfection and can't be pleased. Bottom Line, It's a straight old car, But Guess what it's 57 years old and un-restored, I have not checked all the electrical stuff and front end, but might need to be addressed before a daily driver. Most of the side stainless has all new clips and will be easily removed when buyer gets ready to paint. I couldn't decide on a color. It is close to being ready to paint, but still has a few imperfections and will need a little more block sanding. The reason I put all the chrome back on was to where everyone could see condition and what was there. Most is in pretty good shape. A couple of pieces might need replaced once repainted. i do have back seat but never got around to having it recovered. Also have rear bumper that needs re-chromed.. I forgot to install trunk striker plate before I took Pics. trunk and doors have new locks. Must be paid in full within 7-Days of Auction End No Exceptions by certified bank check or cash in person. Can stor up to 60 days inside if car is paid in full. Any Check must clear my bank before car is released for shipping or moved. Would like 500.00 paypal deposit within 24 hours of auction end.
