I purchased this beauty from the original owner. This is my own personal car, driven every day. Rides likes a dream. Trans shifts perfectly and very smooth. Fully loaded with all the power options ever offered by Mazda including in-dash CD changer and power glass moonroof which glides open and closed perfectly !! Unfortunately, last week the head gaskets blew while I was driving home. I had to buy another vehicle a few days later, so this beauty is now for sale and a very easy fix for the back yard mechanic, or mechanic shop looking to make a nice score when completed !! This Mazda's CarFax is a thing of beauty. Zero accidents with pages of maintenance and oil changes every 3k miles !! I am a private owner, who purchased it from the original owner, with a clean PA title in hand. I just had installed 4 premium high-performance cross-drilled/slotted rotors and brand new brakes all the way around. The brakes/rotors have less then 300 miles on them. The Goodyear Eagle GT tires are thick with 80% tread remaining. The body is exceptional and the paint shines like new !! It ran like a top right before the heads went, but that's how it goes !! It presently starts right up, and runs and drives, but can not be driven far because of it's present issue. I just had it PA inspected and winterized 6 weeks ago, including a brand new battery, new wiper blades, and new headlamps. Everything on my Mazda works perfectly including ice cold air, piping hot heat, and it has heated seats on both sides that really heat up your bottom. The factory BOSE sound system is one of the best I've had, and has an in-dash 6-CD changer that works and sounds like new. Power drivers seat, with power recliner. Power windows and locks. Tilt and cruise control. All power options work like when new. Everything on the car is bone stock and factory. It comes with the complete CarFax report, 3 sets of keys, all the manuals and booklets in the black Mazda zipper case. I'm in my fifties, and babied this beauty, and never abused it driving, and never added anything it didn't come with. Now all this sounds great, but unless you are mechanically inclined or have a friend who is, you might want to pass. It's very important that you understand, while this car runs and drives in it's present state, it's going to take time and money to get it back roadworthy, safe and sound. A guy who knows his way around motors is the perfect candidate. Everything under the hood is fine, obviously with the exception of the heads. Nothing has been touched or removed. I put up two photos of the dash, a few thousand miles apart, so you can see no warning lights were on until the mishap. Since these cars have timing chains instead of a timing belt, I was advised it was best to replace that since you already have the top of the motor apart, and it sounds like good advice, so you may want to factor that in before placing a bid. Now, to recap. This car starts right up, runs and drives, but it needs to be towed or flatbedded away because wherever it's going, it won't survive the journey without doing more damage. I have a clean, clear, unencumbered PA title in hand, solely in my name, and I have no problem just signing it over to you, but you will have to sign something to record the transaction, for both our legal protection. If you own a shop, or you just need a project to work on, you can do so and put this together, without having to register, pay sales tax, tag or title, until you're finished and ready to do so. If you need to have this shipped to you, it will solely be at your expense, but I will help the driver every step of the way, getting it loaded and on it's way. Funds will have to be in my hands and cleared days before the car is released. If you're coming to pick it up, cash is the only form of payment that I can accept. No cash, no car, no title, no stories. The car is presently located in South Jersey, about 30 miles from Philadelphia Pa, and 30 miles from Atlantic City, NJ. It really is a nice car to repair, as everything else on the car is spectacular. If you know what you're doing, it's a score !! I am not mechanically inclined, nor do I have the time and energy to play with this, or wait for someone else to fix it. The car done is easily worth between $4000-$5000 retail, so as I said, if you know what you're doing, major score !! I will entertain all reasonable offers to end the auction early and declare you the winning bidder through eBay, but I am more inclined to let the auction follow through to it's completion, however, if you really want this beauty, make a generous offer, and I will certainly consider it. Any offers accepted will be followed by a NR $500 deposit via Paypal to end the auction early. Please don't bid or make a generous offer unless you have all the cash in hand. No exceptions. I've been selling on eBay for over 15 years with an absolutely perfect record, and I plan on keeping it that way !! If you have ANY questions, PLEASE submit them PRIOR to placing any bids. I am easy to deal with, easy to talk to, and will usually respond to your email within the hour via eBay. This is a sweet deal for someone who knows motors.
