Vehicle Detail

This is a "REAL" "BS23N1B" "BIG BLOCK" "FACTORY Air Conditioned" 1971 'Cuda with lots of parts and pretty well intact. "NOT" a "SHELL", "cut-up", "total rust bucket" 71 'CUDA!!!! "NOT" a 1970-1974 Barracuda "gonna" be...a '71 high-impact colored big block 'Cuda "CLONE"!!!!! IT IS THE REAL DEAL!!!! You can spend thousands on a fake... or a real one when your done!I feel I have the reserve at a proper amount for this "rare" original highly optioned car. Car Specifics: 383/ Automatic(727)/ 8 3/4 rear end with 741 case. I have no clue as to what gears or if sure-grip is there, as I have not pulled the case. I procured the 383/2bbl motor/727 transmission/ A/C parts / Radiator out of a 1970 Charger. Since car was a project and missing motor / transmission/ A/C parts. All will need rebuilding. I am including a factory 4bbl intake. ORIGINAL AIR CONDTIONING CAR In Violet (Purple)Black Leather InteriorColumn Shift (No Console or Slap Shift)Rim-blow Steering wheelRallye Gauges with 8000 rpm tachRear Window Defogger (missing blower motor)Road Lamps (Switch with bracket and wiring harness and road lamp bumper brackets. No Road Lamps)Power SteeringPower Brakes (front are disc from factory)Front and rear sway bars I have had this project car put away for almost 16 years. It is an original Austin, Texas car purchased at the Jay Smith dealership. It still wears the dealership potmetal emblem on the tailpanel. I did not get possession of the fender tags or build sheet. I can see where the two tags were and what is left of the build sheet is just what is left under the passenger seat springs. It is a July 1971 build date and that tag is still on drivers door. This car was the "Last One" in Galen Govier's highest documented Vin number for all 1971 'Cudas in existence. I have the email's as to such when Mr. Govier gave me that information in June of 2003. I am the second titled owner of the 71 'Cuda. As when I bought the car through Sam's Auto in Austin, Texas. It was also through another dealer from the original owner. I wanted to find the original owner and I have a copy from The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles of that title and the original owner's name. I wanted see if they have the fender tags and more information on car. No such luck finding him. Does it need metal work?!!! Yes... it is a 44 year old un-restored vehicle. In relatively pretty solid condition. All the frame rails are solid. The inner fenders on the front are solid, except where battery box sits. The front floors as usual need either patching or changed. The rest of the floors are solid. The trunk is still in very nice shape and has only a very small hole underneath the left taillight. There is a small hole in the trunk water lip on the left side and the right rear window corner. The left front fender needs repair on top and is solid otherwise. The right fender needs repair at the front and has a slight dent behind wheel to door and solid otherwise. Both doors are solid, but right door has dent. Right quarter panel is solid at bottoms. But had some work done on upper part of panel. Left quarter panel is solid around wheel lip. But has some holes after drivers door and behind wheel opening. Trunk lid and tail panel are solid. Rallye hood is in very nice shape. Rear valance will need to be changed. Front valance is not perfect. But either save able or change. Header panel will need work or change. I have clean title in hand, in my name. By Bidding On Car... You must adhere to my Bidding Requirements Listed below! No Exceptions!~ U.S.A. ONLY Make sure your WIFE approves before bidding!
