(American and Import Auto Parts) is proud to offer to the public a great opportunity to own this fabulous and elegant looking XTS.Normally we would, or the insurance company we have a great relationship with would pass this car on to a "Dealer only" type of auction(s). This limits (you) the public from owning great cars such as this one. With that being said, here is what we kinda know about the car. What's wrong with it you ask?. Well, this is a car that was in a flood, also a salvaged title car. Simple. It was a "freshwater" type of flood. (water is water right ?) Not really. What's the difference you ask?Saltwater type of flooded cars, tend to corrode every little wire, module and other electrical items. Freshwater incidents, the items get wet, but still have a great chance of working again without corrosion or complete replacement (possibly). Not to mention the salt stains do not come out so easily. One thing to mention is the drivers door handle is missing the end cap by the lock.The floor was wet when we received the car. Moving on...The XTS did power up, all of the items we turned on, worked great. As an example; the dash controls, the radio, the headlights and dash buttons. The seats did not move for us though. Unfortunately, We did not get the car to start, with the jump battery we had at bay. Could be the factory batter is so dead that it will not let us do a jump, we do not know. We simply used a jump box and could not get it to start.The car would click and then the power down the whole car. The air ride is not working on the rear portion of the car, as you can tell from the pictures, it is sitting low in the rear. There was some water in the cab on the floor of the car when we received from the insurance company.We did not manually turn the motor over, my guys are not equipped to do this, nor do they have the time, with tearing other cars apart for the business. Conclusion Once again, this is a great opportunity for some lucky bidder to own this BLACK "CADDY" XTS at quite possibly an inexpensive price. We are offering this at a " no reserve auction" highest bidder wins! The car is in great shape with low miles, in our opinion. It will just need some repair work to get it back on the road. Im sure there is someone wanting a new(used) car as a Christmas gift on your list. All kidding aside, We are a business selling this car with a dealers license. So, please expect that, if you are local, you will be subjected to selling and tax fees. We will take care of the title for you. Out of state customers will be required to pay their taxes at the sold price at there DMV.There is a $500 deposit immediately following the end of the auction well, at the maximum pay the deposit within 24hrs of the last winning bid. This is a NON refundable deposit. The buyer will and does assume all responsibility of the vehicle once paid in full. This is an "AS IS" conditional sale.
