This 1964 California Black Plate Fairlane, is probably the best structural condition, rust free, old car I have had in my shop. Everywhere you look shows almost no signs of corrosion or deterioration or damage in any way. I have seen a lot of undercarriage on many different vehicles and this one is at the top of the list. If you are looking for a rust free amazing condition 64 Fairlane for your clone project or street cruiser than you should take a good look at this car. The engine is a 302, Mexican heavy duty block, with aluminum intake, 4 barrel carb and a pertronix billet electronic distributor with stock exhaust manifolds and dual exhaust. The C-4 automatic gives solid positive shifts that will chirp second gear if your foot is in it and the car drives great with power steering , four piston front disk brakes and stock rear drum brakes. The interior is from an older restoration and shows some wear but the paint is still very presentable ,very nice. This car has excellent condition bright work with almost no scratches or dings in the stainless trim and very nice chrome moldings and bumpers as well. The rocker moldings have not been installed properly and that is the only thing I could find amiss with the exterior trim. I have many pictures of the car especially the underside, so if you want extra shots of something let me know. Some of the gauges are not functioning properly and could just be a ground or sending issue, has not been tested out yet. All in all this a great car for cruising with minimal work , or fix up while you drive , or go all out with a T-Bolt Clone! Again, this is a rust free body and rust free structure needing no welding repair.
