Will sell to the highest bidder Up for auction is a one owner 1993 Chevrolet Caprice Classic with 075, 229 original Florida miles. The original owner passed away January of this year and the car was donated to the Salvation Army. Please examine the pictures carefully for clarification of condition. I also have a picture pack available upon request, please send me your email address. I have driven this car for over 500 miles and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere in the US. It was either garage kept or had a cover over it most of the time since the paint is not fading at all. The front and rear bumpers are decent shape and may have been touched up at one point (not all that uncommon with the Florida sun). The original owner had covers on the seats so the velour interior is free of any wear, stains, rips, etc. Even along the window will where your arm sits it is intact. The seat belt buckles themselves are in great shape. This car didn't have a lot of people in it at any point. The headliner doesn't sag anywhere and is strongly attached at all points. ALL of the power windows and locks work as they should. I am actually surprised at how quickly the windows roll up and down for a 21yr old car. The window motors have had limited use it appears. The front dash is in excellent condition with no cracks or wear. The side mirrors are electric and work as they should. The air conditioning works strong. The fan blows well and all controls work as they should. Currently there is no freon in the system. The AC compressor works but the system would have to be updated to the new freon. I am fanatical about my driving and here are my impressions: the car starts right up and runs smooth. There was no hesitation when first starting and no unusual smoke coming out of the tailpipe. The car accelerates evenly and shifts well. I got to take my son and daughter to school with this car every morning for about a week and they absolutely loved the ride. There are no vibrations when braking and the steering does not pull to one side or another. The whitewall Firestone tires are not new but still have a good amount of treat left and perform very well under highway conditions (I have drive this car at 70mph and it performed admirably). Most of the driving has been 35-55mph and no shaking or unusual vibrations. Being a Florida car the body and its components are free of any major rust, structurally or otherwise. The picture pack has extensive undercarriage picks (just send me your email address and I will forward). There is some slight surface corrosion on a few components (we are talking paint deep at most) since we are surrounded by beaches but it is minor. All major components are healthy. The brakes do not squeak and the suspension does not creak. The body itself is free of any major dents or dings. The fenders and bumpers are good and have some imperfections near a few of the trim areas. Again, nothing major but wanted to point it out. The current owner of this car is retired and can help with pickup from the Tampa International Airport if you want to drive the car home. The car is located in the North Tampa area (Northdale).
