I have been playing with 63 ropeshaft Tempests for over 20 years and have owned several. This is arguably the nicest stock 63 LeMans anywhere. It is an original California car with a 326 automatic and even though I live in Wisconsin, this car has never been in the snow or exposed to road salt. It was completely restored in 1995 by the previous California owner. It is a drive anywhere car and I normally put around 1,000 miles on it every summer during the 15 years I have owned it. I like driving much more than showing but when I do show it I normally come home with a trophy. The oil gets changed every spring and fall. Every 2 years I change the transmission fluid, the anti freeze and the brake fluid. It has a console shift, power steering, working factory power seat, a custom made aluminum radiator that looks identical to a stock radiator but runs 30 degrees cooler than a stock radiator, factory radiator cooling shroud, a custom (clear) steering wheel restored by Quality Restorations, wheel and master cylinders restored and re-sleeved by White Post Restorations, stainless exhaust, Jet Hot treated exhaust manifolds, Gas Tank Renu coated gas tank, all tinted glass, padded dash, Torque Thrust mag wheels with Coker redline radials, AM/FM conversion maintaining original AM radio appearance, working dash clock, custom fit California car cover and much more.
