Please Read Before making offers or Asking Questions! THANK YOU! JUST FOUND THIS 1969 CHEVELLE SS 396 in a SOUTHERN VIRGINIA PRIVATE COLLECTION! THIS CHEVELLE has NOT BEEN TAGGED or driven very little SINCE 2004 (va inspection still on windshield). WE CLEANED OFF years of DUST & SPIDER WEBS, PUMPED TIRES UP, PUT GOOD GAS IN THE TANK, NEW BATTERY, GOT SOME OIL PRESSURE and SHE FIRED RIGHT UP!! THE ENGINE in the CHEVELLE DOES NOT MATCH THIS CAR ,but is a cast#3935440 which is a 1968 396/325,( runs Excellent!)(no smoke,no pecks,no knocks,no leaks,No Problems!) But I HAVE the ORIGINAL 396/325 BLOCK,HEADS,CRANK,RODs and PISTONS!! the vin# on block and ALL Date Codes are Correct!! (look @ Pics). THE 12-BOLT REAR END LOOKS TO MATCH THIS CHEVELLE (axle code "CX 0102 B") (CAR BUILD date is 01 B). THE TURBO 400 TRANSMISSION LOOKS ORIGINAL to the CAR ,but did not find the #s on it.. ACCORDING to the LAST OWNER THIS CHEVELLE was PAINTED in the 1990s(in original color code 59 frost green) and a few things replaced ,like chrome emblems, interior carpet,seat covers,etc.. (must be ALL GM PARTS because it all looks ORIGINAL!) NO BODY PANELS REPLACED,ORIGINAL FLOOR PANS ETC,(ALL ORIGINAL)(you can still see some orig green on Floor Pans,look @ pic), and NO RUST!! THE PAINT BUFFED OUT SLICK, with ONLY a COUPLE SMALL NICKS in the PAINT(very small). BODY STILL ORIGINAL and VERY STRAIGHT! All BODY LINES and GAPS are DEAD ON Perfect for an ORIGINAL CAR.. ORIGINAL TINTED GLASS(looks great),ORIGINAL BUMPERS are showing there age, ORIGINAL BEZELS AROUND TAILIGHTS ETC are SHOWING LITTLE PITS and CORROSION,but LOOK GOOD for 45 years OLD.. THIS CHEVELLE has FACTORY RALLY WHEELS,VINYL ROOF, FACTORY POWER DISC BRAKES,POWER STEERING,TINTED GLASS,FACTORY DASH CLOCK,and VINTAGE A/C added @ some point, AND still WORKS,BLOWS COOL but not COLD.. we have the Chevelle very road worthy ,, she RUNS and DRIVES ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!! THIS is a MUST SEE and DRIVE CAR YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE HOW GOOD and SOLID THIS CHEVELLE is ,and HAS SURVIVED!! This Chevelle DOES NOT Need Restoring ,it LOOKS GREAT!!
