It apparently had fall in a ditch and it had body damage all over. No frame or mechanical issues. We replaced most of the body sheet metal and painted the truck black. Original Eddie Bauer trim was painted gold, so we replaced all that for OEM new front chrome bumper, chrome grille, running boards, and mirrors. Installed take off 2010 style rear bumper and aftermarket grille guard. Replaced the original 16” wheels for 20” Eagle rims with Nitto tires. Installed a lift kit (about 6”) The engine and transmission are all original. We did the EGR delete as soon as we got the truck. Truck has been a solid ride. Has lots of power and does not skip a bit, never let us down. Transmission shifts very smooth. No leaks, no smoke. Very economic too, does about 15 to 18 MPG. The 6.0 is one of the best Ford Engines. It’s faster than the 7.3 but a lot easier to maintain and to work on than the newer engines. It’s been a while since we put this truck together, because of the time and use, it shows some small scratches here or there typically found on used vehicles. No dents. Inside is very clean and great condition. Seats are all original – never been painted or upholstery repaired. We do have the rear liftgate/trunk door panel that’s missing on the pictures and video (it came off while cleaning and totally forgot to put it back). The rear DVD sometimes play, sometimes doesn’t. You can get a replacement disc player for a very nice deal here on ebay). Truck is located in Orlando, FL. We can help arrange shipping for a decent/affordable price. We chose not to inspect salvage vehicles in Florida prior to selling them because we ran into some cases where buyers out of state had to do another inspection on their registering state and needed all original receipts for that purpose. Florida DMV keeps all original paperwork and receipts about the car, and once we turn them in, there’s no getting back. So we leave the inspection for each buyer to do before they register on their home state and we will provide all documentation needed for that use to make sure the car passes inspection and it can be registered in a timely manner. If you need further information feel free to give us a call. TERMS OF SALE 1. Please ask all questions before you bid and only do so when you understand and agree with the terms of this sale. 2. Florida buyers also pay $300 salvage inspection fee, tax, title and transfer fees. Please read before you bid: Please do not make a commitment to buy the vehicle if you don't have everything ready to complete the purchase by the terms of sale above. If you have any questions please email or call before you bid. Thank you. SALVAGE FACTS If you are considering buying a salvage vehicle but not sure how it works, here is some step-by-step info we put together to help you out. One great advantage of a salvage truck is that you can beat it up, put a lot of miles, make a lot of money, and when you do decide to sell it, you won’t loose a lot of money because you bought it for less than a clean title. Either way clean, or rebuilt title, Ford trucks don’t go down in price. We buy and sell the same trucks today as we did 4 years ago, simply because Ford trucks are reliable, strong and made o last. Remember that laws change from state to state, but this is pretty standard for all Motor Vehicle Departments. There are some states, however, that will give you a clean title after the truck passes the inspection. For further info, visit your local DMV website or give them a call. Step 1 Once you receive your vehicle, save the receipts for the parts used and labor involved on repairing the truck. If we already did all the repairs, we will provide them for you.\ Step 2 Contact your local DMV to schedule a salvage inspection. Step 3 By the time of inspection, you will have to fill out a DMV form with the vehicle information and list all major parts/components replaced on the vehicle and attach the receipts. Step 4 Once the vehicle passes inspection, you can go and register it just like any other vehicle. In most states you will receive a rebuilt salvage title, but in some states, you may even get a clean title afterwards. Check your local DMV for details.
