I bought this truck from the original owners family. It has been on a very large ranch in central Texas for many years. In the 90's the bed was converted into the custom hunting bed that it has, and sometime during then a new fuel injected 454 was installed and dual batteries. It is estimated to have less than 20K miles on the engine. It starts and runs perfectly, very quiet. The exhaust is turbo mufflers and is quiet and looks nearly new. The frame and underside of the cab are rust free, very solid like new floor pans. Driver door drags a little, just needs pin bushings. All of the power windows work, nice dash pad, door panels all complete, tilt, cruise, factory radio, dual tanks (they switch over fine), A/C works but blend door needs work (only blows out of floor vent), transmission shifts smooth and transfer case engages as it should. The transmission linkage needs adjustment, it goes into gear fine but lever is not in right position and it still will roll in park. I think its a simple fix, but I am not a transmission guy. Again it shifts smooth as can be. Brakes need adjustment, a little spongy. Windshield is cracked over on passenger side. Overall this is a really nice, rust free, one owner Texas truck with very few miles. It would make a great hog hunting rig or take the bed off and put a flatbed on it for a cool farm truck. It really just needs a deep cleaning and a few little things to be really solid. It starts instantly and runs very well with excellent oil pressure and no noises or ticks. These trucks in this condition are hard to find. I have a clear blue Texas title in hand. A $500 deposit will be due within 24hrs of close of auction, and I would prefer it be picked up within 7 days of auction close but those terms can be negotiated.
