We purchased this vehicle approximately 8 years ago. Shortly thereafter, I was diagnosed with kidney failure and the car has been used very little since then. The mileage is accurate for the body, but not the motor. Several years ago, the timing belt broke and blew the engine. It was replaced with a motor that had approximately 45,000 miles on it. It has not been driven much since the motor was replaced. By the way, the timing belt issue was a defect and Audi reimbursed us for the motor. Mechanically, the car is great shape. Everything wrong with the car is cosmetic and would not actually cost a great deal to fix. The following are the known issues of the car. We have taken as many pictures as possible to show the defects. There are several rust spots but no holes anywhere.The light on the driver's side front fender has fallen down in the fender well.The air conditioning leaks water on the floor board of the car. A mechanic said he felt the lines were just stopped up.The headliner was completely replaced last year but some of the clips came out on the driver's side. (See photo)My son pressed the hazard button too hard and it stuck. We took the fuse out to make it stop but it also controls the horn.The seats have started to tear from the extreme heat we have in the summers here.The trim on the doors need to be glued down where it meets the windows.Our mechanic broke the latch on the glovebox. It still opens but is not pretty.There are NO dents on this car.Windshield as crack at the bottom on passenger side. It will pass inspection.New Battery.All belts were replaced with motor.Car has current inspection sticker. We were told the vehicle was involved in an accident when it had approximately 2,000 miles on it. Our mechanic said it looked like something fell on it because the paint job shows the top part of the car was repainted and the undercarriage does not show any damage at all. This car would be beautiful restored. It is truly a sports car. Once you drive it, you will be hooked.
