1969 Mustang Fastback "Sportsroof" project car. I have owned this car for over 10 years. Clear Maryland title in my name. Call it a "Barn Find" . This car is a restorers dream. Minimal rust and it's not hacked up. This fastback was on the road and I drove it before putting it away in my garage/barn. The motor is a 302 and the transmission is a 3 speed manual. The motor ran fine but smoked when it was started (valve guides). The drive train has been removed but goes with the car as does the driveshaft. The rear end is still in the car. It was an original C4 car but was changed over before I purchased. You could put a drive train in this car and almost drive it as is. Mileage is estimated. The interior is almost completely there. I bought a new headliner and carpet but a herd of mice put the ass woopin' on them during storage. The interior is black. The back seat is in great shape with seat belts. The front seats have typical tears in the seams. Dash is cracked at the middle, as usual. Steering wheel is aftermarket and is ugly. Manuel clutch, brake and gas pedal in place. Glass is good. Side windows need adjustment with rubber seals. Rear has louvers. Engine compartment is in good shape except for "lets spray paint it black" like every kid does. It still has the plastic wiper and overflow bottles. Rust at the battery tray area as usual. Steering box is removed but I'm sure I have it. I am including a set of headers and a complete Flowmaster 2.5" exhaust with the "X" pipe with the car (no clamps). It was about $600 at the time it was bought. The exhaust was on the car for one week before I pulled the motor. Trunk looks great with a new gas tank. Exterior paint is not good but there is only one coat and primer. Minimal rust bubbles here and there. Appears to have original quarters and fenders, hood and deck lid. Front end looks great as does the rear of the car. Driver's floor pan has rust at seat pan, toe area and at rocker panel. Passenger side needs minor patching. Passenger front frame has rust where water always gathers but is not that bad. I want to get the point across: it is not rust free but it is not a rust bucket! Torque boxes and rest under the car looks good. It comes with the set of Coopers with about 100 miles on them and stock rims. I have the original keys! I may have extra parts that could go with the car but if it is not pictured or mentioned, don't count on it. I have many Mach 1, GT, and Shelby parts that I would consider selling. They are not included in this deal but are available (example: perfect original Shelby roll bar with retractors; Mach 1 dash, speedo, GT caps, etc...)
