Vehicle Detail
NO RESERVE AUCTION! 1970 Lincoln Continental Mark III 2-door Hardtop featuring the king-of-the-road 460 365HP engine. This is the best-looking of all the Mark series in my opinion... the grill, body lines, trunk, bumpers, etc. are all very sexy and convey a look and feel not available in any contemporary vehicle. This is a nice car at a fair price... these are becoming more and more difficult to find in solid, unmolested condition. This one has only 103K original miles, runs and drives great, and is fully loaded with power steering, brakes, cruise, power antenna, trunk release, power seats, power windows, rear defrost blower, full courtesy lighting, AM 8-track radio, leather interior, air conditioning, etc. The car is in sound running and driving condition with a fresh tune-up. The body has no rust-through issues at all. There are minor areas that show surface rust where the paint was scratched or chipped. The paint is original and still shines nicely. The vinyl top is a nice fabric-grain original and in great condition. There are minor body dings and paint chips as shown in the detailed pictures; very minor, but noteworthy. The interior is just about as nice as when brand-new... no rips, tears, or wear showing, other than a tad on the carpet. Almost like new. The power windows are intermittent; all work or none work; there must be a loose ground or something similar. A very nice car to enjoy as-is, or hotrod. These two-door Continentals look great with big chrome rims and two-tone black/silver, all black, or other aggressive paint schemes. To recap, the areas less than perfect include a few dings/dents, the exhaust should be replaced at some point, and the power windows need to be sorted a bit. Nothing major in any area. Clear title with current registration. Please be prepared to remit payment within 3 days via bank wire transfer, direct deposit into my B of A account, or a major bank cashier's check. While every effort is being made to describe the car accurately, it is a 44-year-old classic and being sold as-is, without warranty or guaranty expressed, written, or implied. You may call me at 360-936-9257 to discuss. Thanks in advance!
