FEEL FREE TO MAKE AN OFFER AND I CAN SELL IT EARLY AT ANYTIME. I CAN SPEAK ON THE PHONE IF YOU PREFER. JUST SEND YOUR NUMBER. 1959 CHEVROLET VIKING 50 COE LCF TRUCK This is a neat old cab over chevy truck. These COE's make nice rod projects and can be fixed up in a variety of ways. People put flatbeds on them or regular boxes from the era. I've seen custom crew cabs built out of them and suburbans too. This truck is an LCF (low cab forward). They still have the good COE looks, but have a lot more room in the cab. The engine on an lcf isn't in the cab with you, which on standard coe trucks can get hot in the summer if you don't have ac. I have a picture link with more pics of this truck and other custom trucks to give you an idea of the potential. This truck has only had one registered owner, in my hometown. It is almost rust free with the exception of one spot. Original paint, no bondo. It does have a clear title. Here are all the details on the truck. Some parts are included and listed but not pictured. I have a lot of experience shipping vehicles and can help with that process. I can email a link with more pics, just ask. MECHANICAL The original engine is gone. I believe it had a 283. The 5-speed transmission is still in place with the bellhousing. Yes, it is a 5-speed. Must have been a a specific truck (not pickup) transmission. Parking brake works enough to hold it. The truck steers and tires hold air. This originally had a V8. I guess the motor is still out in a field here if you were really interested in it. Any small block would bolt right in though, and a big block would be an easy transplant or a duramax? This truck has a cool vintage tachometer with sending unit under the hood. 2-speed rearend. Radiator, support, hood mount, etc. are included. BODY The body is in nice shape for a project. No bondo, original paint. The only rust spot is in the drivers cab corner. It will be easy for a bodyman to patch. No other rust through. The floors have minor surface rust on top but are very solid. No large dents. Some dings but pretty straight for an original 59 work truck. Windshield cracked, drivers window cracked. The windshield is most likely the same as a '59 model pickup. The hood is NOT bent. It is just sitting there, not bolted down. The hood hinges are there and the hood latch and bracket. Radiator and support are included also. Hood will be secure for transport. I believe the floor cover is included also. I'll have to double check that. The vintage cow catcher grille guard is a nice bonus. INTERIOR The interior appears all original. It may have been a deluxe option because it has a headliner and door panels. Most old trucks did that I've seen just had metal door panels and roof. Seat is rough but rebuildable. Springs feel fine. Nothing really missing that I see in the interior. Dash is mostly original. Original radio with overhead speaker. OVERALL A cool old COE project. There are more '55-'57 coe customs out there but the '58-'59 is cool looking and looks larger when your standing by it. These COE trucks get tons of attention at the car shows. Thanks and happy bidding. Sold as-is. On Oct-12-14 at 17:30:11 PDT, seller added the following information: tuddy5 store
