You are bidding on a 1992 Geo Metro XFi model. This was an experimental design and attempt by GM to take the existing Metro model and get it to produce even better MPG. Lighter seats, different tranny ratios, different cam shaft, different ECU mapping, one outside mirror, light wheels, and a few tricks got this little guy to produce close to 60 mpg on the highway. The car is located in Sacramento, CA. This is a nice rust free west coast car. I am selling this car NO RESERVE, the highest bidder will win the car. This car is very simple to own and operate. Small 1.0L 3 cylinder motor is right there when you open the hood and is very easy to work on. Everything about the Metro is easy, plain and basic. It was/is cheap transportation. This car starts right up with a good battery, runs pretty good, good clutch, easy shifting 5 speed, good power disc brakes, no radio, no a/c, interior is good for a 92 car. The odometer shows 51,000 miles. It is a 5 digit odometer, true miles are unknown to me but I think its 151,000 but have no way of knowing. Being a 1992 there are a few bumps and bruises here and there. A few dents in the drives door and on the drivers side rear 1/4 panel. This is not a brand new car, it is a used vehicle and has a Oregon Salvage title. It's not a perfect show quality car just something basic to get you around....that also happens to get incredible gas mileage. Please check with your state's DMV on what you will need to get it registered before you bid or win the car. Car was hit in the front area and the drivers side fender and hood were repainted and replaced about 6 few years ago. No frame or suspension damage, the car goes down the road just as it should.
