This bus is just too school for school.... A mostly all original rare walk through 1963 Panel bus with virtually no rust... Original paint inside and out, this bus can be anything that you want it to be...Slam it on the ground, keep it original , put big tires on it and do the Mt Shasta run this winter. Mechanically this bus is in excellent condition. It runs fantastic with a rebuilt 1600 Single port engine. I was told that the motor has around 15K on it, but did not get any paperwork with it. It just had a major tune-up including new Plugs, Points Cond, Valve adjustment and Oil change. The brakes are like new all the way around, and the front end is tight. The transaxle shifts well , but unfortunately pops out of 4th gear...I tried adjusting the shift linkage, but didn't have much luck. This bus has been converted to 12 volts and most of the electrical works, lights, blinkers etc... The tires are in great shape and mounted on 15" chrome wheels. As you can see in the pictures, the body does need some attention... The wheel wells have been cut-out, the front nose and door have been damaged, along with the left rear corner. The door does not open or close very easily, I do have a good used door which is included. All body panels are readily available and the good new is that you working with solid metal to attach them to. I think that this bus has amazing potential. I had big plans for it myself, but after moving my warehouse this summer and then renovating my rental property, I have had to re-access my world big time. I was hoping to restore this bus myself, but have found that I have way too many buses and far too little time, so I'm letting go of some of my treasures unrestored. This way the lucky new owner can buy it at a greatly discounted price and work on it at their leisure. If you have any questions feel free to call me at 720-270-5637.
