One owner 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid sedan with 58,323 Original Florida miles This auction will benefit a local animal rescue group. Up for sale is a one owner 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid with 58,323 original miles. Florida car. White with tan cloth interior. Please see the pictures carefully, the interior is arguably one of the cleanest I have seen in an 11 year old car. No rips, tears or signs of wear that I can find. Only flaw I could find is under the passenger seat where someone spilled what appears to be grape juice. The Goodyear Integrity tires have 90% treadlife remaining. The white paint is in good condition. There are a couple of spots along the passenger roof line and window ridge where the clear coat (clear top layer) is flaking. This happens after a decade in the florida sun. The passenger mirror also has a little paint flaking on the inside pivot arm. The exterior is free of any major dings or dents. Given the mileage and how well it was taken care of, the body is in exceptional condition. Florida car so no rust of any kind. The car runs and drives as a low mileage Honda is expected to, it is tight and drives well with no shaking or vibrations of any kind. If you are familiar with the CVT (continuous varying transmission) then you will understand that the car does not 'shift' like a traditional transmission but rather floats between an endless amount of gears. The hybrid system helps with acceleration (only time i ever notice it is when it first accelerates from a Stop, other than that the system is seamless and can barely be noticed) and charges on deceleration. All systems related to the car are functioning 100 percent. HYBRID SYSTEM is fully functioning and operational. The car was recently taken (2 weeks ago) to Tampa Hondaland and had the oil changed, 20 point inspection, IMA software updated and had the hybrid system diagnostic test performed. I included photo of the receipt (I have pics of both receipts related to the Hondaland service in my picture pack I can send to you since eBay doesn't have enough room for it). According to Tampa Hondaland, the IMA hybrid system along with the main battery and secondary battery (under the hood) checked out 100 percent. Given its age (11 years) and that the State of Florida owned this car, we believe the original hybrid battery was replaced with a new one at some point. We took it to Hondaland to ensure the integrity of the hybrid system and it passed. The owner is retired and can help with picking up anyone from the airport if you decide to fly in to Tampa International Airport and drive the car home. CERTIFIED Funds only please.
