This truck was traded in at a small Ford dealership in Onawa, IA (Monona Ford Mercury Inc.) on 11-30-84. The dealership closed soon after that and the owner put this truck in his garage where it remained until 2014 when we purchased it.Still has the old 1980's style wheels and interior straight out of the 70's! It is in excellent condition body wise, very solid and as rust free of an original truck as you will find. Paint is average, I would say it is 30 year old paint. Dull but would probably shine some. Drivers front fender was repainted more recently as it is more shiny than rest of the truck. I was told engine is the original one that came in the truck all though I have no way of verifying this. Runs ok, we replaced a couple wires and plugs and fuel pump. Trans shifts good. I have driven this truck around town but it obviously should have some more attention given to it if you were to drive it any distance. Brakes work,Perfect for restoration or with a little attention drive it the way it is.The truck is located in Merrill, IA (20 miles north of Sioux City) and is available for inspection at any time.
