This is a 1962 Buick Special not a Skylark . eBay will not let me change the by-line, or I just can't find out the way to do it. This Car was my mother's daily driver. My dad (auto body man and top notch mechanic) bought the Buick with 50,000 miles on it. He rebuilt the motor, had the transmission rebuilt, new paint, new top, after market cruise control, new AM-FM cassette player (so she could listen to tapes going back and forth to work), CB for the car club trips, and seat covers on front bucket seats to keep them original, rather than having them redone over. Since then the car has been well maintained with Amsoil products only, and garaged. In 2003 it went in for service and had not only the oil changed, but transmission fluid, rear main seal, New hoses, belts, air filter, gas filter, and tune-up (plugs, wires, cap, points & condenser).This was at 79,440 miles. New battery at 86,026 miles when I bought the car. New rear shocks at 86,896 miles, and New transmission pan gaskets at 87,051 miles. The car is now at 87,102.8 actual and Documented miles.
