Vehicle Detail
It's time to sell my '95 993. I've had fun with it and just got done doing some services but the opportunity to buy a 930 has arose and I need to free up some cash. Recent services:Full transmission service with Redline fluid and Lucas fluid for the diff.Oil change with both filters replaced and new crush washers.Air filter.Fresh alignment with lifetime warranty through any Firestone location.New inner and outer tie rods (explanation below).Rotors and pads on all 4.Coolant flush (just kidding!).Suspension replaced within the last 7k miles (struts, springs and hats). This car is ready to go across the country and back! Vehicle history will show a accident reported earlier this year, but it was just from the previous owner not paying attention and Tapping a curb with the front wheel. No damage up there aside from a broken tie rod end. Hence the full replacement of inner and outer tie rod. The title was salvage in California from a fender being hit over 10 years ago. The car received an $8000 paint job and the work was done well. I am A Porsche enthusiast and I only bought the car because it looked so good. If the car was a mess, I would not have bought it for myself. I have owned a number of Porsches. There is a small crack below the drivers headlight on the front bumper from someone backing into it lightly and not having the courtesy to leave a note. I didn't notice it for months in fact, so it's pretty unnoticeable. The car handles great and drives real nice. I have had a few hard-core 911 owners check out the car locally and all have loved it and wanted it, but have all turned out to be financially ill-equipped or otherwise not serious. This is the best deal on a 993 you will find.Get one while you can because these cars are going up in value and German buyers are buying them sight unseen in quantities as they have with the earlier ones, and it is going to keep driving the price up and making them harder to find in good operable shape. I will ship internationally, and if you are an out-of-state buyer, I can deliver the car to the local airport if you would like to fly up and drive it back. Title in hand. I have a photo album of the car which can be seen at the following link:https://www.dropbox.com/sh/7xolgeduwnf6khz/AACrPNraj7AgeUyxfA5BfUsaa?dl=0https://www.dropbox.com/sh/7xolgeduwnf6khz/AACrPNraj7AgeUyxfA5BfUsaa?dl=0 I reserve the right to end the auction early for local buyers or otherwise cash-in-hand buyers. On Oct-02-14 at 22:47:29 PDT, seller added the following information: It's time to sell my '95 993. I've had fun with it and just got done doing some services but the opportunity to buy a 930 has arose and I need to free up some cash. The car is bone-stock except for the CD player and the wheels. Mileage is subject to increase as I take it out when the weather is good. Recent services: Full transmission service with Redline fluid and Lucas fluid for the diff. The car received an $8000 paint job and the work was done well. I am a Porsche enthusiast and I only bought the car because it looked so good, and a mark on the title won't make it any less fun to own. In the picture album at the address lower in this description, you'll see a close up picture of this. The car handles great and drives real nice. I have had a few hard-core 911 owners check out the car locally and all have loved it and wanted it, but have all turned out to be financially ill-equipped or otherwise not serious. This is the best deal on a 993 you will find, sieze the opportunity! Get one while you can because these cars are going up in value and German buyers are buying them sight-unseen in quantities (as they have with the earlier ones), and it is going to keep driving the price up and making them harder to find in good operable shape. Additional notes: I had intentions of converting it to a 6 speed, but I have to forfeit that plan in lieu of the 930. With this particular car being so inexpensive, you could convert it to a 6spd and have lots of money left over compared to current 993 pricing, and it adds value as well. If you would like to entertain that option, we can discuss that post-sale.On Oct-02-14 at 22:59:31 PDT, seller added the following information: I believe I now have a working link to the pictures.
