So its a 1970 F250 Camper Special cab and bed on a 1973 F250 Highboy 4X4 drivetrain with a 390 and granny low 4 speed. This is a California truck with Clean California title and registration through 2015. This is a cancer free straight truck with no accident damage, dents or bondo. With that said it is a 1970 and the paint is now considered patina and the molding is not all straight but is mostly present. This truck started with a gas tank behind the seat and 2 saddle tanks which were all removed but the evidence on the body was never fixed properly so the hole in the cab needs finishing and the gas doors on the bed are still there, the current fully functional tank is under the bed behind the rear axle. The gas gauge is wonky and reads empty when full and 1/2 tank when empty. The bed inside and out is pretty straight no waves on inside of bed and wheel wells are not caved in. Spare tire is functional but bald. It has recessed tie downs on outside of bed as well. The inside of the cab is pretty clean with a texture coating on the floor to stop any surface rust and a bench seat with an older recover in descent shape (some wear on driver side). The doors have holes cut for 6x9 speakers that aren't there but the wiring is still present and run to a new CD player in dash that was done clean. The dash has not been hacked up and has all original gauges plus some aftermarket ones mounted underneath. Pull choke on the dash works good when truck is cold. Dash pad is faded and cracked. There is also a pass through window as the back window of course. The truck runs strong with a 2 barrel carb but is easily changeable to a 4 barrel by removing adapter plate. It has a new alternator, starter, refurbished power steering pump and a steering box from a mid-80's Ford with custom steering rod (not perfect but functional without issue). Even though it has power steering you cant steer this thing without it being running and moving especially with the 33 12.50 16.5" tires on it. The tires have even wear on each axle but the rears are worn more than the front but still have a some meat left. The clutch is very positive on the truck but the adjustment is at the top of the pedal so may need adjusting. This thing has a very stout custom built front bumper ready for anything in its path, the rear is stout with a welded in drop hitch, wiring for trailer lights, braces welded to the frame for added support and will tow anything.
