I am the third owner of this 61 Tbird. It has been in Arizona since new. It is completely original including the mint green paint, green interior and 300hp 390ci big block. It is 99% rust free with only a silver dollar sized spot in the rear passenger side of the trunk and one the same size on the battery tray, there is no rot whatsoever on the body, frame or floor. It is completely free of any bondo or lead and is 100% metal and highly oxidized paint. It appears to have primer on the body but that is actually oxidation. The lines are perfect and the body is super straight. I will be including the original hubcaps and original radio. The interior is completely original and all there. Most of the vinyl and plastic has cracks. The chrome and metal is exceptionally nice. The ignition key was missing but I have a new tumbler set fwith key for it. The car sat for several years in Arizona City, I put a new rotor, cap, points, plugs and wires in and it cranked over and fired right off the bat with no knocks or leaks. The carb will need rebuilt or replaced and the tank cleaned. I have only turned it over twice, once approximately 4 months ago and yesterday. The lights and brakes work. Has nice vintage Firestone tires. It has steel wheel covers over the original rims but I will be sending the original hubcaps which are pristine. It would be hard to find a more complete, original project Tbird with no rust issues, body damage and a solid motor/tranny. I'm not a mechanic and think I could have this car on the road in a day.
