This is actually a 1993 AMG M998. Had to list it as a 1980 so that it would take the VIN number. This is one of the last intact M998 units out of the USMC. It was included in the August 1999 USMC auction to dealers. About 500 units were sold and this was one of them. This vehicle has the SF97 papers and is titled int he State of Ohio. The 6.2L diesel was just inspected in November 2012 and minor work done to make it sound and run like new. New canvas top and high back seats with seat belts. Unit is in great shape and it will be difficult for you to find one this nice for this price and needs very little work. I have a new set of 5 tires that are 24 bolt run flats. Unit has the following: -VIC 3 communication system-Antenna-brush guard - Not installed-a few shelves of spare parts Included in the price is a M1101 trailer with approximately 1000 miles on it.
