Here for your consideration is a very rare Yellow 1978 Ford King Cobra Mustang. I have owned this car for almost ten years now. This car was in New Mexico since new, so there is absolutely NO RUST on the body. I am told that there were only around 100 Yellow King Cobras built. This on has a very nice white interior and is a factory 4-speed car. When I bought the car, it had 95,000 miles on it. I have driven it just over 5000 miles with no issues. It had Hooker headers on it which I removed and installed the original exhaust manifolds and Y-pipe along with a new quiet exhaust system. The 5.0 engine has an aluminum intake and Holley 600 cfm carb. I installed new white letter radial which now have less than 2000 miles on them. There is a minor power steering leak, not bad enough to repair in my opinion, just wanted to mention it. This car can be driven anywhere in the country with no problems! There is a dent on the right front fender where a shopping cart hit it prior to my ownership. The original hood decal is still in place, and a bit faded. The dash has developed a crack as seen in the photos. The headliner and seat upholstery was done several years ago and still looks great. All of the spoilers and body components are original. There is no indication that this car has ever been damaged in any way. It retains the buck tag documenting that it is a genuine King Cobra, and the door data tag documents the color and trim on the car.
