This Bike Started as a 1978 Kawasaki KZ650. The Frame was modified with 13" over stock fork and a 250 rear tire. Then the motor blew(sucked in water during a rain storm in Sturgis, No fenders). The motor was replaced with a 2001 CBR 929rr engine from a friend's crashed bike. The motor had a piece of the block broken off where the stator mounts. I patched the block replaced the stator and cover. The rear tire was replaced with a stock 929 swing arm and tire to hand the hp increase. The swing arm is fixed and it has a suicide shift(hand shifter). The Bad: It leaks oil, rear tire leaks, needs chain(for the last 6 years), needs rear brake, the bike is really loud! The good: Runs awesome, very fast (80mpg in first), The bike can wheelie. I've had the bike in this configuration for the last 6 years. Always starts and runs great. Fuel injected with electric start. Not a bike for a beginner. Bike rides great. You can ride no handed at 80 with no worries. Had the bike up past 120mph then got scared. Family and back issues makes me have to sell it. The title is clean and registered in MN as a 78 Kawasaki so insurance is cheap. Any questions feel free to email. The bike was built for a tall person so if you're short you made need to modify the seat. The seat height is really low. The pegs are just far forward. I do accept PayPal.
