I have a Very nice complete 1956 Willys Jeep, Model CJ5, in what looks to be complete original condition. I do not have a title and can not find a vin number, also no key. I know it is a 1956 from the front shackles as shown in the last photo. Very nice straight truck with an incredible rust free tub, hard to find an original tub in this nice shape. Dash looks un-molested, except for being painted. Windshield needs replaced. Has the original 4 cyl engine that spins as it should, transmission shifts fine, looks complete under the hood just needs a battery. All drive train is complete, complete exhaust, shifts properly as it should. Every indication that with a 6 volt battery, this one may start right up, I have not tried. Brakes are soft and not working properly, just need looked at. I do not have a key, has a quite nice fiberglass top which must be why it hasn't rusted. The second to last photo shows the fiberglass doors and door braces, one door glass is cracked. Also the wheel by the doors replaces one of the rears. The front 2 wheels are wagon wheels and match and the rear 2 are 15" jeep wheels that match, the jeep will need tires also. This jeep has just sat for almost 10 years and just needs massaged back into running condition. Just a great project jeep, will provide a Colorado bill of sale. I purchased 25 of these jeeps awhile ago from a collector and realize I cannot complete them all.
