VERY COOL AND RARE 1968 DODGE DART POST SEDAN!!! This 68 post car started out in Los Angeles with a slant 6 and no interior, and no home. Over the years the car has been completely gone through. A brand new 8.75 rear end was installed with new bearings and seals, along with a heavy duty "DETROIT LOCKER" with 4.10 gears runs the race ready differential. A very stout 904 transmission with complete "TCI" internals, shift kit, and "STREET/STRIP" 1800-2200 stall converter finishes the drive train. Now the best part!!! The engine was rebuilt about 4 years ago by the famous racer, HEMI champion, and motor builder "STEVE WANN" out of Modesto California, along with "RETIG BROTHERS" from the movie "American Graffiti". The motor is a 360 block with heavy duty internals. Comp Cam, Edelbrock aluminum heads, Edelbrock performance intake, and a 750 Demon CARB to create a firm 350/350 hp/ trq (AT THE WHEELS). Headman Headers and a aluminum radiator with a extra electric fan that can be switched on was also installed. A "Mopar Performance" ignition and "CHROME BOX" with a new front wire harness was also installed to make sure everything runs perfect, and it does !!! This car runs and stops great!!! This car will run hi 12 seconds in the 1/4 mile all day long, and then drive down the freeway or go around town on a cruise. This car is a daily driver and people stop me all the time. The body is a "20 Footer", the car has minor door dings and the usual wear. Being a California Car, no noticeable rust!!! This MOPAR POST CAR turns heads all the time with the "H" pipe single chamber "Flowmasters". More Fun Facts... Small bolt pattern 15x8 wheels in the back and 15x6 in the front made by "Specialty Wheel". I also have very hard to find radio delete plate and a heater delete plate in this amazing "MOPAR".
