1968 FORD MUSTANG 302 V8 "J" CODE CAR I am selling my 1968 Ford Mustang. I am a car dealer but bought this vehicle for my personal use. It was a fun project but it is time for me to move on from it. The car is very well equipped for its year. It has front disc brakes, air conditioning (the belt is off it but it is not seized up), a center console, and dome map lights. The car looks great, the body is solid and free of rust. The exhaust is newer and sounds great. I have owned it for the past 3 years and here is what i have done to it. - New Edelbrock 600cfm Carburetor- New Alternator- New Power Brake Booster- New plugs, wires, cap, rotor- New Leaf Springs- New front and rear shocks- New front sway bar 11/8" thick This car runs and drives great. The transmissions shifts smoothly. The temperature and oil pressure gauges are working, i replaced the thermostats when i got the car. The speedometer is not hooked up (i bought the car this way). The cable is broken and needs replacement, i never got around to it. The only thing the car needs us a tune up. I say this because i believe the timing is slightly off. When you get up at high rpms the engine breaks up and you hear backfiring. I have a clear NJ title in hand. As i mentioned, I am a dealer but used this car as my personal vehicle.
