1955 Chevy Panel Truck !!!PRICE REDUCED!!! This is a great foundation for an awesome hotrod!! Best of all, the hard work is all done and it has a clear Montana title. The story begins in the way we've all heard so many times: a project abandoned to focus on way too many other irons in the fire! In the lines that follow, I try to give a complete and accurate accounting of the vehicle, it's condition, parts that are included and those that are missing. Interested buyers must contact me via the eBay message board and include your phone number.FRAME/SUSPENSION: This ’55 Chevy Panel Truck has been sub-framed with a nova front end with disc brakes. A new power brake booster and master cylinder has been installed and brake lines run. The steering box is bolted on and I have a late model Chevy tilt steering column out of a 90-something suburban that goes with the sale. At this point in the project, someone could go many directions with engine choice, but a small block (that was my intention) would be pretty quick and easy to install given the motor mounting holes in the front cross member and the new automatic transmission cross-member that has already been installed. The rear suspension from the same nova that donated the front subframe is already hung and ready to roll.ENGINE/TRANSMISSION: This vehicle has no engine or transmission.BODY/SHEET METAL: Rear quarters have been repaired/replaced. Inside door steps have also been repaired/replaced. Hood, grille and radiator core support with new hood latch are in great shape. Front fenders are brand new! Door sheet metal is also in good condition. Make sure you check out the pictures of the floor – front and rear – they are in EXCELLENT condition! Any rust that was an issue in this vehicle has been taken care of. It's important to note, though: Rust was minimal in this vehicle to begin with. Montana, although home to some harsh winters and cold temperatures, has a very dry climate and does not use salt on its winter roads. Having lived for a while in a humid climate where salt is a winter time staple, I have seen the impact cancerous rust has had on bodies AND frames. Be assured, the frame, undercarriage and sheet metal on this vehicle is free from any kind of cancerous rust and is in VERY solid condition. GLASS: All the glass is included and is either in great shape or newly replaced.This panel has a great stance and will look awesome with a business name or graphic on the side!
