Re-listing due to deadbeat winning bidder.For sale is a 1967 289 C-Code deluxe San Jose coupe. A 1 of 282 car according to Marti report. This car is still a project although a majority of the work has been done. She runs and drives, but still needs to be finished. With her factory Sauterne Gold/ black vinyl top/ deluxe interior combo, this is a hard to find head turner!! I have been working for two years to bring her back to glory and have well over $10k in new parts and receipts not including what I paid for the vehicle. Garage kept since I bought her. Permanent registration, Washington collector plate and deluxe Marti report included! Clear Wa title in my name. This car was made in San Jose, sold new in Seattle (DSO #74), and has been a west coast car her whole life.Has installed: original 289/ C4/ 279:1 open differential, 2 year old Sauterne Gold paint, front and back glass, new vinyl top, new exterior trim including vinyl top trim, hood trim, front and rear glass trim, drip rail molding, wheel molding, new emblems, new 2bbl carb (will also include original carb), power steering, rare non functioning factory trunk light, new driver and passenger complete floor lengths and partial driver toe kick replaced, new fuel pump, new plugs, wires, cap and rotor, new battery tray, new 16" American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels on new BFG tires, new fuel line after pump, new FoMoCo radiator hoses, new heater box, new headliner, OEM overhead console, new side glass felt and rubber seals, new door handles, new dash pad, new dash dual stereo speaker, new front fender splash shields, new front and rear parking lights, new antenna, plexiglass cowl cover.Has uninstalled: OEM deluxe door panels, door entry lights and light grills, all 6 side glass pieces (driver wing window has broken hinge and the side glass is missing some regulator pieces), sun visors, new door sill plates, complete headlight mounting kit, new door and trunk weatherstrip.Needs: carpet, complete dash trim set, seatbelts, window and door cranks, console, misc interior trim pieces, door and trunk locks. Car needs tune up, new carb needs idle/float/mixture adjustments as well as vacuum routing but car does start and run. Transmission engages fine and no known electrical issues. I'm sure I'm forgetting some things but that's about as thorough as it gets. As you can see from the pictures I have undercoated the interior floors but the underside still needs to be done. Torque boxes, frame rails and quarters are all solid and original. I will include a folder with all receipts I have plus a thumb drive with lots of pictures of the work along the way.Bidders with zero feedback will be retracted.
