1965 GMC Stepside Pickup 283cu’’ V8 Justin 503-969-5127 Hello again all! I hope you enjoyed the summer as much as we have in Oregon! It is still upper 80s if you can believe that.. I found a pretty cool truck here somebody is going to LOVE! So again I need to explain to the newbies that this is a NO RESERVE auction. That means that the last bid owns the truck. So, if you bid on the first day and then forget all about it for the next 6 days but nobody else bids you still win. Just be sure you are a “money in hand” buyer before bidding. I will list some guidelines to keep in mind at the end of the description so please read all of it.. Your questions may be in there someplace.. If not just call or write. This is a nice stepside, but it is not a show rig. The paint is a cheap one and the truck deserved better. I would love to see somebody paint it semi-flat Army green I would look great in that style. The engine is great though, a 283 and runs fantastically. The Fresh exhaust helps give the truck a gurgle that you can’t help but rev up once in a while at stops. It starts easily and I rarely even use the choke. No drips or overheating issues.. It has been hot here and I recently had this truck on a 100 mile trip in it. It was issue free the whole time. The transmission is a 3 speed on the column and the clutch is right where it is supposed to be too. Tires are good as are the brakes and suspension too The GMC is happy to putt through town or hit the road. The windshield and seal are new as are the wipers. All the fluids were just changed and flushed. The Stereo is not stock but it really sounds great and is set for an iPhone or music device. Last, but certainly not least I want to mention the bed. It is really nice and looks to be brand new. The wood is solid and has no damage or weak spots. It’s really pretty and well done. As I mentioned up top, this is a NO RESERVE auction. I am starting the bids at a penny. Here are some requests to keep this a fair and true no reserve auction. #1. Only bid if you have intentions to buy. #2. This is an AS-IS sale. I have done my best to describe it exactly as I see it but it and keep a perfect feedback score however 1965 vehicles are old and have no warranties or guarantees. I’m sure you can purchase one someplace if you look into it. I can guarantee a clean and clear legal title after payment. #5. I will not accept Pay-Pal for the balance payment of the Truck.
