I have owned this truck as part of my collection two and a half years. 1960 Chevrolet 1/2 ton235 cubic inch inline 6 4 speed manual transmission divorced 2 speed transfer case Selectro manual hubs The body is in fair condition. It has a lot of previous amateur body and paint work, including bondo. The truck has been repainted at least once. The frame and body are solid and free of any major rust. The original wood bed is intact and useable. Previous owner claimed it to be a native Colorado truck. The following work has been completed: NOS sweeper seals on front axle All synthetic fluids including differentials, transfer case, transmission and engine Front hub and wheel bearing service Diagnosis and repair of various electrical shorts Cleaning and re-building of speedometer (odometer reset to 00,000) Clutch adjustment Things needing attention: Blower motor is not working. It has power at the switch and to the resistor. Left windshield wiper over-extends. I think a nut has worked itself loose. Oil pressure sending unit needs replaced. I have this part somewhere.Parking brake cable is broken.Horn switch works intermittently. Hood was not properly latched on a test drive and damaged (not shown in pictures)Needs a tune-up.
