Two major upgraded that address every weak spot of the EJ25 power plant. All this was close to 7k parts and labor! If you are a new Subaru STI owner, or have had no time to research yet, or none of the points below sound familiar to you, then google "Subaru oil pickup" or "sti blown ringland". Every sti is susceptible to those issues and can ultimately land you a 10k repair bill. 100% new non-rebuilt block, with forged pistons, factory rods(already forged from factory). This Sti is ready for just about anything you can throw at it and  begs for a turbocharger upgrade. Had this been a factory block you’d be risking blowing the engine with minimal modifications such as a downpipe. At the beginn ing of the summer this Sti received professionally assembled brand new-new engine block, valve job and, Manley forged pistons and Moroso oil pick up. I won’t bother listing the basics such as spark plugs, all seals , timing belt , pump...list goes on. You will have a chance to review the paperwork.  All receipts and records to be included of-course. As part of the back story its important to add, this build did not initially have a blown engine at any point. Was my long desired autocross setup which unfortunately never made it to the track.  It has 3,251k street miles, and that is it. Burns no oil, makes no funny sounds. Rest of the car has 109k miles. Clean carfax and title. If you are out of state i will gladly send you a video of the car. Crisp Shifting Transmission Cold AC Overall the car is in fantastic shape. carpet and interior is clean, couple door dings and some road rash on the wheels. Strict no joy ride policy. Check financing and funds before taking the time to see it, not after. Ultimate chance to start with a fresh engine, know that it was taken care of from day one! No gray area here, no “ what if previous owner missed an oil change or ran low on oil”?  Call it a sales pitch, however any Pro will tell you, it only takes one time to run low on oil. After its a quick run down hill.  A result may reduce engine life by half if not more. Low miles won’t protect you from previous owner misuse, however next to zero miles will. All you can do is pick a perfect one that will give you years of enjoyment, piece of mind and most importantly zero paranoia!
