On Sep-24-14 at 07:30:42 PDT, seller added the following information: Q)Paint? A)Paint has some chips and cracks. Dull! needs to be buffed or cleared!Q) Is there anything wrong worth mentioning about the engine or drivetrain?(fluid leaks, exhaust leaks, bad seals, knocking)? A) No! Small oil leak about a QT. a year! Q) How is the transmission(does it slip at all)? A) No! Q) I know the brakes are drum, but do they still work for the most part? A) YES! Q) Is the wiring ok for the most part, nothing shorting and draining the battery every time you shut it off? You hit the brakes and the reverse lights come on or anything? A) Their is a drain on the battery not shore wear it's coming from all Lights work good! Q) I noticed in a couple pictures it looked as if you were showing some sort of imperfections, what exactly was that(old body work pushing through)? A) YES! Q) What was the condition of this car before it was cloned(involved in accident, rust, rot)? A) Don't know! I got this car about 2yrs ago! Q) Was there any extensive metal patchwork or excessive bondo used? A) Don't know! Car does have some bondo cracks, rust spots and paint chips (see photos) Q) In the pictures it almost looks like the front seats, dash, and door panels are greenish; are they the dark green leather or is it just the lighting in the photos? A) Front seats, dash, door panels are dark green. I dyed the back seat black. The driver seat has a rip and the door panels need to be replaced so I did not dye them and the dash or center console. Q) Do the gauges work? If not which ones? A) Speedometer only works intermittent! Gas gauge not working! Q) The trunk looks to be in immaculate condition, are the front floor pans the same? A) Trunk has some rust spots as do the floor pans. See new photos of floor pans This car is a 1969 Lemans never been restored in 45yrs apparently not stored in doors could it be a $50,000.00 Clone? probably not being a Lemans so does anybody want to put $30,000.00 into restoring a non numbers matching lemans. NO unless you go protouring then maybe. This is a good driver that you can leave in a parking lot to go inside and not worry.
