1969 Mercury Marauder X-100 for sale This is a beautiful example of a 1969 Mercury Marauder X-100. The car was repainted in 2006 and completed in 2014. The X-100 has the correct 429 4V along with a beautiful original white interior which includes a very nice and working rim blow steering wheel. Correct Kelsey Hayes wheels with rare center caps. Three X-100’s were used to finish this example and all the best parts used. One of the X-100’s had power windows which were installed in this one during the restoration (switch for the passenger side window does not work from the driver’s side control panel) and new motors placed in the rear windows – all windows are in great working condition. Engine shows 99K and runs and sounds strong – no issues were noted during the mechanical restoration. Engine bay and block were painted as well. Also installed were a rear defogger and the information cluster in the center dash. Sport mirrors were also added to enhance the look of the car. All the turn signals, brake lamps, and headlights work perfectly. I had a new fuel sender put in and replaced the old gas tank with a brand new one from Dearborn Classics. When the gas tank was installed an inspection was done of the floors and they are solid throughout the car (see pictures). The following items have been done to complete the restoration: New Holley 650cfm carburetor - 2014 New plugs, wires, points, condenser, electronic ignition - 2014 Converted to R-134; AC blows ice cold – 2014 New gas tank and fuel sender unit - 2014 Michelin Tires including full-sized spare mounted on correct K/H wheel -2008 New windshield with no marks or chips - 2012 New headliner and carpet - 2012 Bumpers and C-post re-chromed – 2012 Weather Strip – Doors and Trunk - 2012 Items that need attention: 8-Track player Cigar Lighter Switch for passenger side window on driver side control panel Driver side fender skirt molding - missingClock This is a beautiful X-100 in great running condition with lots of work and receipts.
