FUN & QUIRKY CROSS BETWEEN A SPORTS CAR & A TRUCK Like any two-seater, the X-90's main appeal is to the buyer in the market for "fun," and here it fills the bill nicely. The cabin is roomy enough for a full six-footer, and the higher stance makes it easy to enter and exit without the squeeze factor of conventional two-seaters. All models are outfitted with the same colorful Gen-X-oriented fabric design, and their overall styling and ergonomics are user-friendly. It's similar to a small two-door sports car, FIRST I LOVE THIS CAR BUT SADLY MUST SELL BECAUSE WE HAVE AQUIRED A LARGE RESCUE DOG THAT COULD NOT POSSIBLY EVER GO WITH US , & HE HAS BECOME NUMBER ONE. THIS IS DEFINITELY A 2 PERSON CAR. WE FOUND IT NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ONE IN DECENT CONDITION, AS THESE ARE SO RARE AS ONLY A FEW WERE MADE.YOU WILL SURELY GET ATTENTION, WITH IT EITHER SMILES OR LAUGHS BUT RARELY IGNORED, TALK TO ANYONE WHO HOARDS ONE & YOU WILL HEAR WHY. IT IS OFTEN SAID IT LOOKS LIKE BARBIE SHOULD BE DRIVING IT OR IT WAS THE MODEL FOR THE CARS IN THE CARTOON MOVIE. HOWEVER I PERSONALLY HAVE FOUND ONE THAT IS ALL TRICKED OUT AND OWENED & LOVED BY A MARINE, GUESS THAT EXPLAINS THAT IT CAN APPEAL TO DIFFERENT TYPES.I AM A FAIRLY NEW DRIVER & THIS CAR HAS BEEN EASY FOR ME TO DRIVE, GIVING ME A FEELING OF CONFIDENCE THAT I NEVER HAD WITH OTHER CARS.IT DOES NOT HAVE ALL THE BELLS & WHISTLES OF THE NEW SMALL CARS JUST ENOUGH TO MAKE IT FUN, UNIQUE & EASY ON THE GAS BILL., & CHEAP TO FIX IF NEEDED.THIS CAR WAS WELL CARED FOR BY THE ONE & ONLY OWNER BEFORE US, IT ONLY HAD 74.000 MILES ON IT, IT HAS BEEN GARAGED NEVER DRIVEN IN THE PAST 6 MONTHS. LIKE I SAID ITS HARD TO LET IT GO BUT IT CANNOT BE USED NOW. IF YOU DONT MIND THE STARES & YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GOOD CAR THAT IS DIFFERENT THEN HERE IT IS. CAR IS IN REALLY GOOD CONDITION~ NO RUST OR BONDO ON BODY JUST A FEW FAINT SCRATCHES, THE INTERIOR, ONLY NEGATIVE , IS THE PASSENGER SEAT HAS LOOSE THREADS ON ONE OF THE SEATED SEAMS ALLTIRES ARE IN EXCELLENT SHAPE. The Suzuki X-90 is a small two-door, two-seater SUV manufactured and marketed from October 1995 to May 1997 by Suzuki. Related to the Suzuki Sidekick, the X-90 featured a T-section removable roof.[1]The X-90 replaced the Samurai for the United States market.[2] It started selling in Japan by the end of 1995, and in Western markets in April 1996.The X-90 used a 1.6 L I4 16-valve engine which produced 95 hp (71 kW) and was available with four wheel drive or rear wheel driveand either a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission.[3] The X-90 featured dual air bags, anti-lock brakes, optional Air conditioning and a dealer-installed 6 disc CD changer. The suspension used MacPherson struts and coil springs in front and coil springs withwishbone and trailing links in the rear.[4] A full-sized spare wheel is stored in the trunk and space behind the two seats offers further cargo area.The X-90 was initially a concept car shown at the 1993 Tokyo Motor Show. It received wide praise from the public. The production vehicle was shown in 1995 and started to sell by the end of that year in Japan, with international markets the following year. Despite the praise and mostly positive reviews, the X-90 sold 1,348 X-90s examples in Japan, and a total of 7,205 X-90s were imported into the US. More than half in the US were sold in 1996, with sales dropping to 2,087 the next year and just 477 in 1998. During 1996, 484 vehicles were imported into Australia. It was also imported into Europe. By mid-1997 retail pricing had been dropped by 25%.
