This is my own personal vehicle since acquiring it from an older gentleman in Xenia Oh in September 2006. The Camino will NOT be sold with the Cragars- IT WILL BE SOLD WITH THE STOCK RALLY WHEELS AND NEW COOPER COBRA TIRES on it now. The original air cleaner is on it now I've had a lot of work done to it, but of course it could use more to make it into a show car or just to make it more like new if you wanted. Paint is ok but could use some minor body work and new paint. Every panel has some flaws, BUT pretty straight and very little filler( except tailgate which seems to be common on these-this one had been hit or rusted i'm sure and filled) as can be expected for a 34 year old car. It was originally white I was told. It had been siting in the street a couple of years ago when someone shot a gun into the air within a mile or less away i'm sure and the bullet came down, hit and made a small dent in the hood on passenger side closer to the windshield.The windshield had a small crack in it on lower driver side corner when i purchased the car.It could be left alone or replace if wanted. It could use new floor pans or drive like it is as i have been for 6 years. They are not terrible but not the best either.hope to get pictures if i can get a lift to put it up on. one minor oil drip/leak at timing cover when engine work was performed - an easy fix, just time consuming they say. (belts, pulleys, water pump, timing cover, partially drop oil pan, etc) Its now a daily driver type vehicle. I replaced all the steering parts when I got the car. > center links, tie rods, Pitman arm, Idler arm.It has one new lower ball joint that was needed not long ago. I had the complete rear frame section from about the axle back replaced by Nelson Frame in Columbus. I also had them put in a nice set of used 3:08 gears, bearing, fluid, seals. It has new brakes, rotors and drums. A new complete fuel line and that guy adjusted the tranny shift points to firm, similar to a shift kit. Comes with new upholstery - seat covers with the cloth in the center where you sit, and headliner. Just had newly rebuilt HO heads put on(from an reputable eBay seller- nice heads! # 14014416 ), plugs, new cam, lifters, timing chain, gears, roller tip rockers, new balancer and lower steel pulley.. Runs very good, smooth and cruises great and easily down the road. On Jul-17-14 at 21:41:35 PDT, seller added the following information: Sorry, Forgot to add a few things, and im sure most would find more flaws on this 34 year old car. the chrome is fair around the windows and bed - some minor pitting on the corner pieces. the front bumper is not that great -not sure what you'd call it..worn, weathered or deteriorating.. as well as the grille chrome is not that great but grille is intact - after all.. and i cant stress enough, its 34+ years old.. Carpet is old, and dirty of course, and could be replaced if wanting to look new. Again, it's just a old worn used driver.. The complete basic structural integrity is good.The mechanical integrity is very good.The car runs and drives very good.
