My father and I bought the car for its original owner early in 1988 with less then 90k miles on it. The oil pump went out and that's where it all started. He had the engine rebuilt with mild head work and converted the original block to a roller block. while that was being done he was at the Carlise swap meet and bought the guage package, hood, and spoilers. He then painted the car Imron Dupot paint with clear, and then had the complete interior and top redone. We enjoyed the car till 1992 when we moved to Texas. My father then put the car in a friends rodent and climate controlled electronics warehouse. It was there until 2 years ago when it was started ran and moved to a new steel building with concrete floors in Just outside of Cumberland Md. There the car has gotten extremely dusty . I am a mechanic and had the chance to visit the car for the 1st time since 1992, all of the vinyl, weather stripping , the dash and top are all in excellent condition soft and subtle. I believe with the with extended routine maintenance completed this vehicle should be road worthy in no time. As a matter of fact for a negotiated price I will personally get the vehicle mobile again as I am a mechanic.
