As incredible as it seems, this bike is still in the hands of the original owner and it has only been ridden a little over 100 miles a year since it was new! This HONDA is loaded with many of the extra HONDA factory amenities that were available on these models in that year, all installed by the dealer when the bike was delivered. This motorcycle has that great classic vintage look with a solid black paint job and just enough chrome goodies to really give it some sharp contrast. The entire motorcycle is very straight and clean and it needs no attention whatsoever. With a professional detailing it would look close to brand new. It has leather saddlebags, a windshield with tool pouch, passenger backrest with luggage rack, passing lamps and fender guards. It just recently passed New York State's MVB rigid inspection for safety. We didn't want to bog you down with pages of useless HONDA VTX information, considering that most of the people looking at this cruiser will know much more about it than we do. For it's entire life, this HONDA VTX has been stored in a garage and maintained properly to keep it fresh. The bike performed flawlessly when ridden and everything works. The 1300cc engine produces more than enough horsepower and has plenty of torque on tap even if you are travelling two up. The five speed transmission works smoothly and the proven shaft final drive keeps maintenance to a minimum. This reliable bike is fun to ride and you would never believe that this machine is 12 years old because it still looks so great!
