Please Help Me! I have to get out of the garage!! I need to run free with my top down. My mom bought me from a charity auction in California in May, 2005 and had me shipped to New Mexico. Soon the summer came and the sun was too strong here in New Mexico, so she parked me in the garage. The sun was too hot, the winters too cold; maybe I could go out a bit in the spring or fall. She didn't want the trees to drip sap on me so she bought a custom car cover. The dirt blows here in New Mexico and she didn't want me to get dirty, so back to the garage I went. It seemed like I was spending my life locked in the garage! HELP ME GET OUT OF THE GARAGE!!!! I am an original California car and my current mom was only the second owner. I have my original upholstery, radio and I think everything else. She had Al, the local master mechanic, replace my fuel injectors, recharge my air conditioner and tune me up. I have all the receipts. But still, I sit in the garage except for a few days here and there and the July 4th parade where I was all dolled up and turned lots of heads. My paint is a bit cracked on the hood (please see the pictures) and a few small scratches, but I run fine and have been (too well) taken care of. I have 100,078 miles which is not too bad for someone as old as I. Black and Tan - the perfect classic combination! I want to run free without my hard top. Please help me.
