I REPLACED THE TRANSMISSION IN MARCH WITH A BONE-YARD ONE WITH 56,XXX MILES ON IT SO IT ROUGHLY NOW HAS 90,XXX. UP UNTIL 8-20-14 I WAS DRIVING IT DAILY UNTIL IT STOPPED ON THE SIDE OF I-94. I AM NOT SURE BUT I BELIEVE IT MAY HAVE SPUN A BEARING??? IT DOES STILL RUN BUT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DRIVING IT THE WAY IT IS AS IT COULD DO MORE DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE!!! IT IS BEING SOLD AS/IS NEEDING EITHER ENGINE WORK OR REPLACEMENT. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DRIVE IT AWAY, IT WILL NEED TO BE TOWED OR TRANSPORTED IN SOME FORM. I HAD JUST PUT ABOUT $2000 IN REPAIRS ABOUT A MONTH AGO WHICH INCLUDED A FULL 4 WHEEL BRAKE JOB, ALIGNMENT, & SOME OTHER ODDS & ENDS. THE TRUCK IS RUST-FREE & WITH MINIMAL SCRATCHES & DINGS. I DO HAVE THE REAR SEAT WHICH WILL BE BACK IN IT BEFORE IT LEAVES. THE TRUCK GAVE ME ABSOLUTELY NO INDICATION THERE WAS ANYTHING WRONG, RIGHT UP TIL THE TIME IT STOPPED ALL GAUGES WERE NORMAL. I HONESTLY WOULD HAVE LIKED TO FIX IT AS I LIKE THE TRUCK, BUT DON'T KNOW HOW TO WORK ON DIESELS & DON'T HAVE THE EXTRA CASH. I ENDED UP BUYING ANOTHER TRUCK AS I NEEDED TO GET BACK WORKING SO MY LOSS YOUR GAIN! PERFECT IF YOU HAVE A WRECKED TRUCK WITH A GOOD ENGINE OR TINKER AROUND WITH IT & POSSIBLY BE A EASY FIX?? NO METAL SHAVINGS IN THE OIL. AC IS ICE COLD.
