For sale is a 1988 Ford F150 XLT 2wd Auto 129,700 miles. This truck's condition is quite remarkable. I have included many pictures, so that hopefully bidders can see that. As noted, this truck has power windows, power locks, cruise control, and intermittent wipers. All work properly. The air conditioning blows cold. The seat, carpet, and headliner are all in great condition. There are a few stains on both the carpet and headliner. The seat however, had a cover on it when I purchased the truck, and is very well preserved! No rips or stains. It has a CD player of which I know very little about. It was installed by the previous owner and I only ever listened to the FM band. I just had the truck tuned up (plugs, plug wires, rotor, and distributor cap) two weeks ago. It runs very well. As far as the mechanical problems that the truck has; First, the rear fuel tank pump is not working. Second, the power steering pump has a leak. Third, while I had the truck tuned up, my mechanic said that the oil pan gasket was leaking and that, that issue was common for this truck. No need to worry I am very careful with all my vehicles to check fluid levels and keep them full. Those are the only mechanical problems that I know of. As far as cosmetic issues, there are only two places of significants; one is the driver side rocker, and the other is behind the passenger side drive wheel (sorry I thought I took a close up but didn't). This truck is very solid when driven and has a very smooth ride. As far as I can tell, it has had a bed liner, and a topper for that matter, its entire life. I lifted the bed liner and the bed floor is in superior condition. As I'm sure you have gathered, this truck is NOT perfect, but it is in exceptional condition for its age. If you have been in the market for a similar truck of similar age for very long, you know that trucks like this one (in this condition) are not very common. I want to be very upfront and honest with how I represent my truck. I have listed all issues of any significance and want you to know that you can bid with confidence.
