This is a very nice "ALL ORIGINAL" One owner, "CLEAN TITLE AND HISTORY", 1997 Mercedes E420. The E420 is a huge step up from the common E320 and much more car including a 4.2 Litre V8 that is 315 HP and it gets exceptional fuel economy. The car is black with black leather interior (and yes it is actually Leather and not MB Tex that the 320 has that is not real leather) and all original paint and has never had any sort or accident. There are normal scratches scuffs and dings as should be expected from an all original 1997. The paint shines great and the car looks great from 10' away. The interior is in excellent condition for a 1997 with no cuts or tears or any major wear. It has all the original factory Mercedes floor mats and full original owners manual documents.The cup holder in the center console is in excellent condition (They all break normally and they are very expensive to fix) and "EVERYTHING FUNCTIONS CORRECTLY AND ALL OPTIONS WORK" It has Just passed GA Emissions last week I have spent a great deal of time, effort and money on this car over the last year. It has been used as a spare personal driver for that period. A partial list of things done to the car are: Brand new Radiator, Brand New (updated version W140) Climate Control Fan and Relay, NEW TRANSMISSION IN JUNE 2014, New Brakes Front and Rear, New MAP Sensor, New Factory Fuel Cap, New Purge Valve, New Regen Valve, New Engine Hoses and Vacuum Lines, New Mass Airflow, New Lamps and Bulbs etc. A great deal of small items have been looked after. The car runs absolutely fantastic and drives just as well. It always idles right at 600 RPM and most of the time you can not tell it is running. I am 100% positive that this car will absolutely drive to Alaska tomorrow morning without any issues. The Rub Strip on the rear bumper was cracked by backing up into a bicycle in the driveway and now has black duct tape over it (the rub strip is a completely separate part from the bumper cover itself and is $110.00 new from the dealer). In summary this is an exceptional 1997 that has a great history and has always been taken care of and serviced well. With a small amount of effort it will be perfect, or do absolutely nothing and drive it exactly the way it it and have a nice looking reliable 1997 luxury car. This car was personally used by our owner over the past year and was his private spare car. It is our understanding that this car was a two owner car even though the report shows four. We were told that the owner moved from GA to DC and back to GA., thus showing as four owners by doing that? To be clear this is what we were told by the previous owner and is in no way to deceive anyone about the car either way. Also in the pictures of the car it has rear emblems on it that are E55 AMG. If you need a nice reliable car immediately then this is a great option. EMISSIONS test was done last Tuesday. If you are looking for a great car at a fair price then this is a great option. If all you are concerned about is a cheap price then this is not likely what you want because there is plenty of junk out there that people are selling for a cheap price. Guess Why? Also if you think the mileage may be high at 201,000 then think about this. Average drivers go 15,000 miles per year. This car is 18 years old by model year. 18X15,000= 270,000. Ask yourself when you are out looking at any car, how a 15-20 year old car magically has 100,000 miles? Did someone change the dash cluster ? This car is Exceptional, Documented and runs and drives like it has 50,000 miles.
