Vehicle Detail
For sale is my 2004 SVT Competition Orange Cobra. I am the second owner. >>>>EVERY PART OF THE DRIVETRAIN IS NEW WITH ZERO MILES (Other than dyno time) that includes the wheels tires and brake system along with the suspension<<<<< I own this car and am selling it as a private party sell. However, The car is currently located at Lamotta Performance in FL. They finished the build and have dyno tuned the car. On a conservative pump gas tune the car made 533rwhp on 10 psi, 625rwhp on 14 psi and 714rwhp with 18 psi. The car is being tuned with SCT and a SCT 4 hand held tuner with all the tunes will come with the car. ***Once payment clears, the buyer can either pick the car up at Lamotta Performance or arrange shipping from that location. *** Although this car is heavily modified it made an awesome street car complete with AC, satellite radio and with the automatic the car drives almost like stock DETAILS of the motor: 4.6L block, forged crank, Manley Rods, Diamond Pistons 9:1 that have been coated by swain tech, the short block has been balanced and blueprinted, ARP Head studs, main studs, side bolts and ARP 2000 rod bolts, custom windage tray, heads were CNC ported by M2 Race systems and were assembled using Crower valves, springs and cams. The motor is topped with a custom sheet metal intake with a 4 port fogger system. Turbo system and intake: Turbo system started out as a hellion kit but was modified. We fabricated a set of forward facing headers then coated and wrapped them, mounted the turbo in front and built a custom sheet metal intake with a direct port nitrous system. The car also has a front mount intercooler and turbo smart boost controller. Transmission: Lentech Terminator 4R70W automatic (Rated for 1500 hp) no trans brake and a street friendly Ultimate converters torque converter. This transmission also utilizes the overdrive feature and is activated by a push button on the center console. The car has a Hurst shifter in a custom dash matched housing. Underneath the car there are 2 transmission coolers mounted at a slight angle in a custom aluminum housing. Rear End: 8.8 solid axle with 3:73 gears, girdled differential cover, welded and braced axle tubes and Moser 31 spline axles with c-clip eliminators Chassis: AJE k-member, Strange engineering coil-overs, Steeda adjustable upper control arms, Metco lower control arms, Wilwood Dynalite Brakes, lightweight front and rear bumper supports Fuel System: Sump tank, Fuel lab filters and regulator, Aeromotive pumps with digital controller and CPR Rails. Car now has 160lb injectors so you can run more boost using pump, race or e85 gas. The car will also come with 60lb injectors that were used for startup and break in. Interior of the car is like new as is the exterior No expense was spared with this build. I had every intention on having a 1k rwhp car that I can daily drive while running easy 9 sec ¼ miles with the A/C on. Unfortunately, family circumstances have change and with a new baby, I won’t have the time to enjoy the car. I am not in a hurry to sell nor need to, however; I have priced this car at less than half of what it would cost to build in hopes someone can enjoy the car and not have it sit in the garage like it will at my house. I have stacks of paperwork related to this cobra and have over 65K in it. I also have the title, SVT Certificate, original window sticker and all paperwork and manual ***Full disclosure*** I attempted to raise the boost level past 18lbs for the previous buyer and ran into issues with the rings not fully seating. The engine only has dyno time. My tuner suggests replacing the rings, however, the engine builder assured me that the hardened rings needed 500-1000 street miles to fully seat. Just being completely honest as I would want the same if I were buying the car. I had the car sold, but am relisting it due to non payment. Due to potential issue with the rings, I am lowering the price.
