This is a re-listing due to deadbeat high bidder. Why bid if you have no intention of buying? You may remember my previous colorful description of this car. This is the edited version. I purchased this car in December of 1981 and drove it daily until June 1982. I began to disassemble the car for a full restoration. I quickly realized I did not have the skill/money required to do it right. So into the barn it went. I was a young man , now I am an old man. I want to waive bye-bye to this car before it has the chance to dance on my grave. So if you purchase this GTV you may pick up where I left off. Please note the floors have been patched in parts and when I removed the door panels I could tell someone had patched the lower skins. Also the car was originally green and the previous owner gave it a $5.00 paint job. The underneath looks like a typical old car with the only noticeable defect is the patched floor panels. You are buying the car "as is.....for parts only ". Just pretend you discovered this car in a junk yard with the intention of doing a full restoration. I have sold 2 other cars on Ebay and both times potential buyers ask to view the car in person. That is a 80 mile trip for me to drive out to where the car is located only to have the tire-kicker not show up. So no appointments, this is an auction on Ebay, I am not a used car dealership. The engine cranks so it is not seized and it rolls easily. I did not start it because the car is filled with old fluids. Just pretend you discovered the car in a junk yard and go from there.
