Rare find - fully strong running '66 classic step side truck. Original legendary 327 small block born January 1966 Michigan plant (numbers researched) and 3 speed transmission. 12 Bolt rear end.Dual exhaust w/cherry bomb glasspack mufflers. She sounds amazing! Original interior, dash.Column shift moved to floor. Brand new Mr. Gasket race shift kit installed. Summit fuel cell mounted under wood bed (not connected yet). Wired for tachometer (removed), new temp gauge. Speedometer and turn signals work - odometer not at this time. Milage unknown - but seemingly rather low on dashboard. I only drove this typically to my golf club on weekends or Lowes past 6 months. Truck History: was told it was pulled from a Kentucky barn -original owner. I purchased with intent to "shop truck" rest-mod, but death in family and kids off to college have changed my time and plans. Very good frame, no to minimal if any rust, suspension good, drives straight, stops straight. Ready to resto, shop or rat-rod for weekends shows! Research, read and watch Barrett and classic auctions - Chevy trucks are in high-demand. I assure you - finding one in this shape and price is very rare. I hate to sell it but I am not able to build my dream '66 at this time.
