Up for sale is a very nice 2 owner 1961 impala 4dr duck top impala. It has under 87000 original miles. She has been preserved very well over the years as a time capsule. She is all original and never been restored. The body is in good condition and chrome as well for its age. Body does have a few imperfections such as a small dent on passanger door, small amount of bubbling on rear quarters at the bottom, and little repairs on top front fenders but none the less minimal repairs for its age. Frame is solid, floors and trunk pan in great condition also. She is a number matching car as well. Motor and trans run great, car has original 283 with cast iron 2 speed power glide and perform as should. Some parts have been replaced such as valve cover gaskets, new alternator, battery, battery terminals, motor mounts, all freeze plugs, hoses, water pump, thermostat, thermostats housing is chrome, intake gasket, gas tank, sending unit, manifold gaskets, brake master cylinder, new plugs, wires, points, cap, gas lines, and I'm sure there is a few more things I'm forgetting too. Has dual exhaust with new cherry bombs too. Car is stored inside and driven regularly with weather permitting. On average around 60-75 miles daily. Interior is descent for a driver and all original. She will need some carpet, few of the bottom of the door panels need work, two arm rests need recovered and headliner is there but needs replaced, has new deck panel cover installed and is gold, have new gold vent panels to install when carpet is redone and will be included. To say the least all interior is in fair original condition and complete. I have upgraded stereo system to modern times including alpine CD player with remote and 4 power bass 6x9s. Original stereo is there and does work. Car has been under coated and inside trunk also. Has new trunk seal too. She has new tail light lenses, and seals aswell. The speedometer doesn't work but odometer does. I have another speedometer that does work and will be included with new cable also. Windshield wiper motor needs attention aswell unsure of issue but never worried about it cause she only is driven on nice sunny days and stored inside at all times unless out on a drive. Car is pictured with 3 month old OG wire wheels that are not included but can be for extra. Car has stock wheels and tires with stock hubcaps and good tires on those aswell. Will have spare tire and original jack too. All and all she is a great peace of history in great original condition, she can be driven while u restore or drive her as she is.
