I am selling one of the last of my collection.A very well preserved 1971 C10 2WD that has been babied since new.The striking Blue/White combo paint is a head turner along with the clean classic lines of these C10s and you have a investment that should continue to grow! New in the last 600 miles are---New whitewalls all 4 tires/New battery/New alternator/New starter. Truck has been re-painted and it glows with quality. Truck was taken down to bare metal YES even inside the box then 2 heavy coats of Epoxy primer/baked/wet sanded then 5 coats of each color then baked! A true perfectionist may wet sand the color and buff if desired yet all the compliments I have had NO_ONE has not liked the paint quality.Yes like 99% of repaints there are minor flaws. I entered the truck in one car show and received Peoples Choice!!!!!! over twice as many as the next vehicle! Look inside as the interior is as clean as any Ive seen and you should notice the dash is UNCUT and retains the original AM radio I was told by the PO that both motor and transmission were rebuilt at around 85,000. Both motor and transmission perform flawlessly and I have no reason to doubt the POs word. The factory Rochester carb was rebuilt ans performs nicely.The motor also retains the original distributor with points and is in factory specs for wear. Trim is in used condition and has some wear.Box inside has very minor dents and is the nicest I personally have seen. I recently took the truck on a 466 mile ride and used just less than 1/2 qt oil.The turbo 350 shifts smooth ans quiet every time. These trucks seem to gain popularity and value every day and prices are rising as the nice ones like this get harder to find. Truck is currently insured for $16,500 at the insistence of my insurance man. I am ONLY selling due to health reasons---truck is a nice unit I make NO excuses for--Perfect maybe not-very nice driver that runs great and turns heads? YES!
